Nika Lomidze in the Chief Operating Officer at Independence Avenue Media.  Having worked in Ukraine and Georgia and managed U.S.-funded governance and political party assistance programs across Eurasia, the Asia-Pacific, and South Asia, he brings extensive management experience.

At IAM, Nika oversees operations, finance, and strategic development, ensuring that the organization’s journalistic mission is sustained through disciplined financial management, efficient workflows, and long-term institutional growth.

Nika is a former Fellow of the Alexander Hamilton Society. He holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Foreign Affairs and Russian & Eastern European Studies from the University of Virginia, and a master’s degree in International Relations from the American College of the Mediterranean based in France. A former rower for UVA’s men’s crew team and a defenseman for the Georgian National Ice Hockey Team, Nika brings to IAM the same focus, teamwork, and discipline that shaped his athletic career.
